About CMAHC: The Council for the Model Aquatic Health Code (CMAHC), the unified voice of commercial aquatics, oversees updates to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Model Aquatic Health Code (MAHC), the national standard for pool safety. Through collaborative research and membership engagement, CMAHC ensures the MAHC remains current and effective, advocating for its voluntary adoption across the industry. CMAHC provides education and guidance to stakeholders, including authorities, facility owners, designers, builders, and suppliers, to promote a safe swimming environment based on the latest science.
