Trihalomethane Concentration in Drinking Water

According to European Union regulations, the concentration of trihalomethanes in drinking water should not exceed one hundred micrograms per liter (100 µg/L) of water for consumption51; while in the United States the Environmental Protection Agency (US-EPA) has established a legal maximum of 80 µg/L52. The DIN 19643 Swimming Pool Standard specifies a standard maximum of 20 µg/L.53
